Fluidr presents a new way to view photos on Flickr. Try it out at http://www.fluidr.com/

It aims to help viewers concentrate on the photos and the photos alone. This is achieved by reducing the prominence of all page elements other than that images themselves, and by reducing page loads as much as possible.

Photos from Flickr are found and displayed as viewers scroll down the page therefore preventing the need to click on 'next' links without loading more images than a user needs. This allows for viewing thousands of images at a time seamlessly.

If a viewer authenticates Fluidr with their Flickr accounts, they can then also view non-public photos and videos to which their account has access. They can also add comments and favourites directly from the main interface, again with no additional page loads.

Fluidr is currently in active development and is a hobby project of Sidath Senanayake as an excuse to learn more about modern web technologies.
